Operations began at the new factory of French company Mecafor in Kikinda on 20th October. Operations were officially launched by Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, French Ambassador Christine Moro and Kikinda Mayor Pavle Markov.
The factory covers an area of 4,800 square metres in the town’s new Industrial Zone. Mecafor owner and CEO Nicolas Grosdidier told the top officials that the investment has a value of 4 million euros, while 30 million dinars was set aside for the lease of land on this location. Grosdidier pointed out that only six months elapsed between the moment the foundation stone was laid and the day the factory opened.
