The author of the art setting is Professor Marko Lađušić from the Faculty of Applied Arts

Apatin brewery, in cooperation with the Faculty of Applied Arts, and within the educational project, Reciklirajte i Vi – Artiklaža 2017 presented the first sunshades and benches made of recyclable materials. The author of the art setting is Professor Marko Lađušić, who for years, together with his students, combines art and recycling through creativity.

“This is our fourth joint project in which we want to point out to the importance of recycling and environmental protection. This time, we wanted to create both artistic and practical objects and show what is possible to make from recyclable materials, “said Marko Lađušić, professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts and author of the item.

“In Apatin Brewery, we pay special attention to sustainability and environmental protection, more rational use of resources and reduction of waste. Molson Coors and us as its member, realize significant savings through water and energy-saving programs. Our aim is to become a company that will not make any waste from 2020”, said Slobodanka Cucić, manager of corporate operations at Apatin Brewery.

Through the campaign Reciklirajte i Vi which is being implemented since 2008, Apatin Brewery strives to raise public awareness and educate citizens pointing to the benefits that we all have from recycling, but also to show the usable value of the packaging.
