The Embassy of Malaysia in Belgrade handed over the donation from the proceeds raised at the Malaysian Charity Bazaar 2016 to the Naša Deca Association from Belgrade.
Aiming to support the Association’s efforts in helping the disabled children to develop their artistic talents and enable them to strengthen their sense of self-worth, the Embassy of Malaysia made the donation in kinds, comprised of renovation works done to the Association’s space, supplying new furniture, appliances and raw materials required by the organisation.
Supporting the Association’s plans to become more self-sustainable, the Embassy also donated a transfer press machine for printing on fabric and clay, set of machines for making badges and a computer. The total value of the donation is EUR 5,000.
In the warm atmosphere of the celebration the Naša Deca Association’s 15th Anniversary, the representatives of the Association thanked the Malaysian Embassy for the donation and the motivation that it would provide to the children. The Association representatives expressed their satisfaction and hope that the cooperation between the Association and the Embassy would continue in the future, before awarding the Malaysian Charge d’Affaires a.i. the Certificate of Appreciation.
The ceremony concluded with the warm interaction between the staff of the Embassy with the children of the Naša Deca Association.
