The hotel represents an investment by Serbian company Delta Real Estate and is worth 50 million euros.
InterContinental Ljubljana, with 20 floors, is the tallest building in the Slovenian capital and is expected for that reason alone to become a tourist attraction of the city.
Among other things, the top floor houses the B restaurant & bar, which offers unusual panoramic views of all four sides of the city. The helm of the restaurant has been entrusted to Michelin-starred chef Alfredo Russo.
The hotel has 165 rooms, including 14 suites. Among them is also a presidential suite which, covering an area of 160 square metres and offering an exceptional view, represents the most luxurious hotel accommodation available in Ljubljana.
InterContinental Ljubljana is particularly important as a congress hotel. It’s the largest hall, Emona, has the capacity to accommodate 300 people, while two other business halls are located on the 19th floor, overlooking the Alps and Ljubljana Castle, one of the symbols of this city.
