The official reception marked the 25th anniversary of the formation of the modern Russia state and 1,154 years of the existence of the Russian nation.
H.E. Russian Ambassador Alexander Chepurin said that Serbia is an important and reliable strategic partner of Russia in the Balkans and throughout Europe as a whole.
“We highly value the sincere sentiment of the Serbian leadership and the Serbian people for further improving cooperation with Russia in all directions,” said Ambassador Chepurin.
