The 55th anniversary of the 1963 signing of the Élysée Treaty by the then West Germany and France was commemorated this 22nd January.

Current ambassadors of Germany and France to Serbia, H.E. Axel Dittmann and H.E. Frédéric Mondoloni, jointly welcomed numerous officials from Serbia’s political and public life to the reception marking the anniversary of this treaty of friendship, held at the French Ambassadorial Residency.

Addressing guests at the reception, the two ambassadors emphasised their countries’ support to the European integration of Serbia and regional reconciliation, as well as the importance of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), establish on the basis of the example of the German-French Youth Office.
