Start-ups Ballooner, AddTag and Cactomain have been awarded cash prizes for the further development of their business ideas, under the auspices of the first “mts start-up accelerator” programme to support entrepreneurial teams with a total cash amount of €20,000.
The three-member panel of judges assessed that the solution of the team at Ballooner – for cheaper balloon flights into space and exploration of the stratosphere – the Cactomain service team – for simplified registration and management of internet domains – and the solution of team AddTag – for eased communication between brands and visitors of festivals and other events – have the greatest prospects of developing sustainable products for the global market in the coming period.
“Telekom Srbija today supported the development of technological entrepreneurship with the first grant investment in the products of these three talented teams, at a juncture when they most in need of support. Apart from that, we are ready to provide them with mentoring advise in areas where they estimate that they require that,” said Milan Simić, executive director of Telekom Srbija for IT and ICT services.
