The occasion of the 50th BITEF saw the presenting of traditional awards: Grand Prix “Mira Trailovic” and the 39th Politika Award.

The double laureate was the play Hilarious darkness (Urnebesna Tama), directed by Dušan David Pařízek as the production of Vienna’s Burgtheater.

Those in attendance were welcomed by Miloš Latinovic, Director of Bitef Theater, and Ivan Medenica, Artistic Director of Bitef.
