The Fifth Finnish Film Week, organised by the Embassy of Finland, the Finnish Film Fund and the Cultural Center Belgrade, was held from April 19 to 23 in the Hall of the Cultural Center Belgrade.
Ambassador H.E. Pertti Ikonen hosted a cocktail for friends of Finnish film and officially opened Finnish Film Week, screening the documentary “Little Wings” directed by Selma Vilhunen, winner of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Film Prize in 2017.
The Festival selector, director Bojan Vuletić selected nine Finnish feature films and documentaries. The audience had the opportunity to meet both directors and producers from Finland, as well as Jaana Puskala, head of the International Department of the Finnish Film Fund.
