Ambassador of Canada to Serbia H.E. Kati Csaba was a guest speaker at the event organised by the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCBP) on the topic of Canada’s foreign policy goals and principles concerning global security.

The Ambassador said that Canada is again active in the international arena, promoting through multilateral institutions values such as respect for human rights, including the rights of women and girls, democracy, respect for diversity and the principle of inclusion.

She also stated that Canada strongly supports Serbia’s aspirations towards EU membership and encourages the continuation of democratic reforms.

Ambassador of Canada to Serbia, H.E. Kati Csaba emphasised that Canada is also very engaged in the further development of trade relations with Serbia and increasing investments, assessing that there is a “solid base” in that area and that Canada is trying to find ways to improve trade engagement.
