The Slovenian Business Club (SPK) has held a meeting with guest participants Željko Ožegović, Serbian State Secretary at the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government, and Gregor Virant, former Slovenian Minister of Public Administration and current Director of the Strategic Unit for the implementation of projects on behalf of the office of the Prime Minister of Serbia.

Over the course of the past nine years, UNIQA has invested over €60 million in different spheres of business. It successfully completed the process of acquiring Basler Insurance, worth around €9 million, after which UNIQA Serbia boasts 730 employees, 33 branches and more than 400 points of sale.
Under the auspices of its strategic cooperation with the Belgrade Faculty of Organisational Sciences, Societe Generale Bank has organised a competitive case study on the subject of small businesses, within the elective Bank Management course. Participating students during the winter semester presented their ideas, with the winning team awarded a three-week work placement in the bank, where members will gain the business experience vital to their further professional development.
The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Serbia organised the second largest competition of start-up companies in the country, called “Ring Serbia”, held on the premises of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“VisMedic” – an online clinic that enables patients to consult with their doctors via online video chats and messaging – has won the title of the best start-up company in the country.
HRH Crown Princess Katherine, accompanied by Kathy Fanslow, president of humanitarian organisation LifeLine Chicago, and her daughter, Tracy Armstrong, presented an ultrasound machine and hospital beds to the Narodni Front Maternity Hospital in Belgrade, marking a donation worth a total of $27,000.
